Do you think that self isolation is protecting us or is it a way for us to loose our freedom?
It might seem that keeping ourselves away from friends and strangers is the best way to fight this new pandemic, but what negative effects will it have on us and will these be short or long term
one disadvantage of self isolation in my opinion is,after being away from people for so long, you start to loose that physical face to face social interaction, and start to develop a virtual type, and in a long period of time this will start to feel normal,having your phone, computer, AI etc.. is what makes you feel most comfortable to be around, and I 'think' that the same way that mental patients or left alone in a dark place by them self will have the same effect on all of us that are self isolated
Disadvantage number two, in order to keep us safe our leaders will have to implement laws on us that will come close to those people who are doing life in prison, and the more laws that restrict people is the more they are inclined to break them if they feel there rights are being violated, so the longer strict laws of lock down is enforced the less jobs will be available, the less access to our basic needs of resources, then we will see an increased in crime
