I gt a msg that my bluetooth peripheral device driver is missing. However, when i try to send files from my phone to the computer it says connection failed. Can I click somewhere and thank you?
Hello Eranda, Not sure exactly what you want to do with the iPhone over Bluetooth but I would recommend trying to connect the devices and once a connection is established then play music on the iPhone to see if it plays through your computers speakers. The first option was to install a driver for the Bluetooth Peripheral Device and the second option was to modify the Windows Update to install the newest drivers available for devices on your Windows 7 computer. While it may not be ideal it will save you lots of headaches and possibly be a better Bluetooth device that the one installed by default on the Dell.
Your description was the most detailed, so I thought you might know how to help. You may not have to try them all; just work your way down until you find the one works for you. Method 3 : Start the Bluetooth Support service. I have a suspicion that this is due to Updates from Microsoft since it worked perfectly as of June of 2010 and then went kaput. Hi, What is your current situation? When I tried to pair it with my computer and laptop it gives the error for missing drivers. I would try removing the laptop from the list of devices on the iPhone. I have been wanting to try something running Android but have yet to find anything comparable to the iPhone. Again thanks for taking the time to provide the proper link! Definitely will be curious to know what the solution is on this oneā¦.
(64bit - I have to use the computer to connect to the phone. Click Start to start the service.
It appears that this issue has been going on since 2009 but it just recently happened to me. I have updated all of my drivers. I have tried to update drivers automatically. I have contacted Dell with no luck. They said it's a windows problem. I even did a restore to see if i could get it my Bluetooth back. Sorry if this is the wrong forum. Hi, What is your current situation. For the device won't work, please try to Renove Device from Devices and Printers. After thatrestart the computer and then reinstall the device. Best regards Michael Shao TechNet Community Support Hi Try disabling the device in the bios, reboot and then enable it again, reboot and see. Perhaps you have a faulty device.
