  3. Minutes after posting the photo, fans of Reinhart accused her of wanting to “do blackface.” The actress, who plays Betty Cooper, in the hit The CW series deleted the snap from her social media account. 5. Meanwhile, Reinhart is not the only actor who offended fans with their choice of Halloween costume. In 2013, Hough decided to cover her face with brown paint when she portrayed Crazy Eyes (Uzo Aduba) from “Orange is the New Black.” At that time, critics accused her of being “racially insensitive.”
  6. Hough explained that it wasn’t her intention to offend anyone and apologized for what she did. “I am a huge fan of the show ‘Orange is the New Black,’ actress Uzo Aduba, and the character she has created. It certainly was never my intention to be disrespectful or demeaning to anyone in any way. I realize my costume hurt and offended people and I truly apologize,” Hough said.
  7. Aduba accepted her apology and asked everyone to “move on” from the incident. “I think it was an unfortunate event, but she apologized and I feel like we can all move on,” Aduba told E! News.
