  2. For the mountain climbers and the adventurous tourist in you, you might like to conquer Toubkal, the highest mountain within the Toubkal National Park and the Atlas Mountains of North Africa. (The Atlas Mountains will be featured later.) Anyway, the Toubkal has an elevation of 4,167 meters or 13,671 feet. It has a prominence of 3,755 meters or 12,320 feet and the first recorded attempt to climb it was in 1923 by European climbers named Marquis de Segonzac, Vincent Berger and Hubert Dolbeau.
