Jesse Lingard has always proven to be a useful squad player and have provided an option for Portuguese manager in midfield in recent matches, but he is also now doubtful for the trip to Chelsea.
Mourinho who is Chelsea's most successful manager but has been sacked twice by the Blues will look to avenge the disgraceful 4-0 defeat he suffered at the hands of the Premier League Champion last season at the Bridge.
This looks like the right time to play Chelsea as the Blues are struggling defensively failing to keep clean-sheets in most of their matches this season.
Mourinho will hope to take some lessons in the way Italian side A.S Roma demolished the English champions in Rome on Tuesday, October 31.
Man United are currently in second position in the Premier League and they trail leaders City by five points.
