I just felt like making this paste because why not.
If you think about it, numbers are actually quite useful.
Just imagine where we would be without them?
"Hi, I would like to reserve a hotel room."
"For how many nights?"
"Uhh... This many."
"I'm sorry but I do not know how many 'this many' is."
"All right then, I'll just pop by and reserve it in person."
"Okay. At what time?"
"Umm... Later today?"
"I'm busy today so I'll have to get you to tell me a specific time so I can see you."
"Uhh..."
As you can see from my excellent and totally realistic portrayal of reserving a hotel room, life without numbers is just weird.
Imagine paying for stuff as well.
That would be really hard.
Imagine counting.
That would also be difficult.
I don't know what else to type because I am out of ideas.
