  2. Go to Freetown’s harbour and see this magnificent Island. The Island stretches to about 502.9 meters and forms the estuary for Rokel River and Port Loko Creek. This place exudes history as it was one of the places where huge slave trades happened between North America and the British. Though small, the island is so strategically positioned that it contributed to the slave trade greatly. This place has a tropical climate so be sure to be safe from harm by bringing umbrellas to use against the sun.
