  15. From previous experiences I know that good ideas come from struggles, problems and unmet needs.
  16. My struggle was (and still is) finding a good and worthwhile idea.
  17. Most good ideas are found, since very few people can come up with good ideas on the fly.
  18. It's all about doing research and being creative.
  19. Another important point is that a crazy idea may appear worthwhile on first sight, but can ruin your life. Not every good idea can be a commercial success, lets keep this in mind so we don't become delusional.
  20. Lastly, not every idea is yours. To be successful at something you have to own it, you need to truly believe in what you are doing. Making money is important but you should also enjoy the process and work that comes with it. If you don't, and life starts punching you in the face, you will simply give up. Money alone is not strong enough to keep you in the game.
  21. Research is painful
  22. I spend a lot of time, or should I say, waste a lot of time, doing research. Reading all sorts of topics on blogs, magazines, forums, social media, ... In a nutshell I am spotting trends and understanding where the market is going. By analyzing what others are doing I 'might' stumble upon something that matches my style. This is very time consuming, and rarely do I find something to be excited about.
  23. I say "no" to ±99% of the things I read, because I'v already tried most of those. If you have been in business for many years, then you know what I am saying here. But if you are a newbie it is within your best interest to try 99% of the things out there, so you get a taste of as much as possible.
  24. Getting help
  25. Today I started working on a personal tool that will make my life easier.
  26. Instead of wasting hours trying to find interesting content to consume, this tool will serve me a list of new items on a plate:
  27. [?IMG]
  28. The idea is to build and deploy scrapers/spiders that detect new/fresh source.
  29. A source can be a blog, website, forum, ...
  30. This allows me to review each source and identify whether it is worth checking out.
  31. Having selected a set of sources, the spiders will daily monitor those sources for new content.
  32. On my dashboard I will then be able to see all the sources and links to the content (filtered by date). This allows me to very quickly skim over the entire article and analyze it in matter of seconds.
  33. Several extras are possible here:
  34. - a feature to only save content that contains specific words, so I can narrow down on the results.
  35. - use NLP and AI to summarize the content and highlight interesting phrases (=faster analysis).
  36. - identify whether pages contain ads/banners or are selling something --> useful for product and competition analysis.
  37. The end goal is to find at least several ideas, niches and products at which I can compete in the market. And I am not talking about building a CPA or Adsense blog, I am looking for concrete business ideas that involve either physical or digital products (software).
  38. Stay tuned for the next update.
  39. Cheers!
  40. - Ilya

  47. I want to avoid all those mainstream sources.
  48. They mostly talk about VC and backed startups, rarely anything practical for an ordinary person.
  49. I bought software from you. The forum Analyzer pro and! Youtube Calculator
  50. The licenses don't work anymore. The reset licences key website is no longer available
  51. I feel like you've just taken my money (and probably others) and abandoned the software(s)...
  52. This is not right, somebody needs to stop scammers ripping people off
  53. I'm talking to an online ombudsman to find out my legal options
