The stomach is a wide, j-shaped, distensible, muscular ac placed obliquely on the left side in the upper parts of the abdomen just below the diaphragm. It is about 30 cm long and 15 cm wide. It has a greater curvature and a lesser curvature along its lower and upper sides.
