Does DA by Moz depends upon number of Backlinks pointing to Homepage only?
DA is good metric to judge any site. I just want to know that does DA of any site depends upon Number of backlinks pointing to homepage of the site or all pages of the site?

DA uses some variation of the published google algorithms (search google scholar).
DA is the sum of links to each url in the site as transferred to the domain. There is a damping factor, it's not direct.
This is then normalized from 0 to 100 as compared to other sites. So if your raw score is 700 and the top site is 1000, your DA would be something like logarithm(700/1000) or something like that.

MOZ basis it on all pages, and looks at:
The total amount of backlinks
How well the links are on topic. If your niche is talking about SEO, and the page that links to you is about fashion, it'll rank lower.
How popular the link is overall (How often people choose your result from a search engine)
How trustworthy your domain/site is (How that's measured, I don't know)
How the links are "distributed", or spread across different domains/sites. A mixture of different backlinks with different DAs is rated higher.
If the backlinks are in the correct language or from the same general area. Backlinks in Chinese aren't looked at well if your page is in English.
How many links have your brand name in the anchor text
How quickly the site gets backlinks. If you get too many, too quick, it'll throw a red flag.
What's called "link sentiment", which I don't fully understand, but I think it has to do with whether links are saying good or bad things about your site. I can be very wrong about this, though, as I've never really looked into it.
Long story short, while the number of backlinks to your pages overall is a major factor, it's a combination of all of the above for all pages that creates the DA. PA is very similar but looks closer at keywords and on page SEO on each page.
