Wake, Durham counties among school closings and delays for Monday
Chapel Hill-Carrboro City Schools will be closed for students on Monday, January 25 due to hazardous travel conditions.
Monday will be an optional teacher workday for employees. Staff choosing to work should arrive on a two-hour delay. Operational staff, including maintenance and custodians should report to work and arrive as close to normal starting time as travel conditions permit.
Chatham County Schools will be closed for students and staff on Monday, January 25, 2016.
Chatham Charter School will be closed for students and staff on Monday, January 25.
Durham County Schools will be closed on Monday, January 25, 2016.
Franklin County Schools will be closed on Monday, January 25, 2016.
Granville County Schools will be closed Monday, January 25th.
Halifax County Schools will be closed Monday, January 25th.
Harnett County Schools will operate on a 2-hour delay for students and staff on Monday, January 25.
Johnston County Schools will operate on a 2-hour delay on Monday. Buses will run 2 hours late. Staff should report at the regular time.
Lee County Schools will be closed for students on Monday. An optional teacher/staff workday begins at 11 a.m.
Moore County Schools will be closed for students on Monday. Employees will be on a two-hour delay
Nash-Rocky Mount Public Schools and administrative offices will be closed on Monday, January 25.
NC State University will resume its normal class schedule and operations at 10 a.m. Monday. Classes scheduled before 10 a.m. are cancelled.
Orange County Schools will be closed Monday, officials said. All athletic and extracurricular activities are also canceled.
Person County Schools will be closed Monday, January 25th.
Vance County Schools will be closed tomorrow, Monday, January 25, for all students and school system employees.
Wake County Public School System schools will be closed on Monday, January 25 due to road conditions, continued power outages for some schools and families and expected refreezing overnight. Athletic and extracurricular events are also canceled.
Wake Tech will be closed on Monday, January 25, 2016. All classes and events are cancelled at all Wake Tech campuses and centers
William Peace University in Raleigh will open at noon (operating on a 4-hour delay) on Monday, January 25 due to the inclement weather. The Dining Hall will open at 10:30 a.m. and remain open throughout the day and night.
