This national park contains almost all of the unique ecosystems of the Sudanese bioclimatic zone. It is one of the places to visit in Senegal. They have waterways, ponds, dry forests, rocky hills, and many more. Because of this, the Niokolo-Koba National Park’s almost one million hectare land has a great biodiversity. The Derby Eland, the African wild dog, as well as different kinds of lions, elephants, and reptiles can easily be spotted in the vast savannah lands of the park. This place is also listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
