One of the nature reserves in Paraguay which melts the hearts for travelers and natives alike is the Mbaracayu Forest Nature Reserve. The Mbaracayu Forest Nature Reserve is located in Ygatimi and it is now a protected area – all 64,405 hectares of the nature reserve. 88% of the reserve is forestland. The other 12% consists of some bodies of water like rivers or lagoons. There are also some amazing animals found here like the jaguar, manned wolf, the tapir and the giant armadillo which is considered an endangered species, among many other animal species.
