  1. Reports from Russia showed a small political parties are gradually moving to accept sponsorship from Bitcoin
  2. Growth Party, a center-right party founded in 2009 under the title Just Cause, is reportedly looking to begin receiving monetary contributions electronically. This move is remarkable stance with complex and controversial Russian government's long-term currency like Bitcoin electronic.
  3. Information disclosed in the report from Interfax and TASS includes comments from Boris Titov, head of the Party of growth and adviser to President Vladimir Putin on business issues.
  4. According to Interfax, citing the need to Titov funding for the party from the new path, including crowdfunding, as a motivation for the decision. Moreover, he reported that the party will accept contributions only from those who have already Bitcoin identity verification.
  5. TASS provide further details, reported that the parties are considering fundraising efforts as a means to promote the adoption of electronic currencies in Russia. According to the state news agency, the party promised that the law will reduce the difficulty of the technology for application and further development of the country.

  8. The statement came two months before the Russian parliamentary elections in which the party is seeking to achieve growth is a place in the national legislature.
  9. Party currently does not hold any seats in the Duma, only two representatives to sit in the Russian legislature. Party hopes to move forward with its legislative ambitions for electronic money at the polls later this year.
