Athol Island is another place in The Bahamas that local and foreign tourists visit when they are in the country. The whole island is just 2 miles long or around 3.2 kilometers. You can walk from one end to another in as short as 20 minutes! But, the great thing about Athol Island is the “feeling of isolation”. The island has no residents and when people come to visit, they snorkel, swim or do relaxing activities here like lie on the sandy beach.
