Tarrafal is one of the many little towns in Cape Verde and its number one tourist attraction is none other than the Tarrafal Beach. If you ask the tourists who have already been there, Tarrafal Beach is a very calm and peaceful place. There are local dogs roaming around the beach but are very friendly. The sand is fine – not white, not gray and not black but a combination of all. It is the best beach in all of Santiago Island with a real-life Cape-Verde-type of village that foreigners will truly enjoy. The food is superb too.
