This lake is named Natron because of its salt and soda composition. Lake Natron is near the Kenyan border and is at the Gregory Rift of East Africa. Because of the lake’s high natural temperatures, not many marine animals live here. However, a great biodiversity exists in those that can withstand the heat. Lesser flamingos see this place as their breeding ground and because of the lake’s hot and caustic nature, it safeguards those who live in it perfectly.
