PayPal has acquired mobile backend service provider StackMob. StackMob is best known for having developed a platform that enables developers and companies to create and manage mobile applications. With the addition of the StackMob team, PayPal plans to boost the creation, testing and deployment of mobile payment products. No financial details related to the transaction have been disclosed.
