Hezbollah Secretary General Sayed Hassan Nasrallah, Monday, December 11, 2017 said the decision of Merika United Donald Trump on Jerusalem will be the beginning of the end of Israel.
In a televised address to thousands of protesters in Beirut, Nasrallah denounced Donald Trump in connection with his recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.
Nasrallah said the best reaction to Donald Trump's decision on Jerusalem was a call for a new intifada.
"The most important reaction is to announce the third Palestinian intifada across the occupied Palestinian territories, and with the support of the Arab and Islamic world for the Palestinians," Nasrallah said as reported by Xinhua and quoted Antara on Tuesday 12 December 2017.
He said, "We will not allow this decision to be the beginning of Palestine and Jerusalem, and with all confidence and certainty, I am convinced the decision of Donald Trump will be the beginning of the end of this union of occupation called Israel."
Crowds gathered on the southern outskirts of Beirut on Monday afternoon marching and shouting solidarity for the Palestinian people and a rejection of Donald Trump's decision.
The open meeting came after Nasrallah in a speech on Thursday December 7, 2017 calling for a demonstration.
While from Cairo reported, the Arab Parliament called for a summit to discuss how to counter the United States' recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.
The Arab parliament decided to assign delegates representing the Arab Parliament to visit the African and European parliaments to hold meetings and demand an international denial of the US decision.
The parliament also emphasized the Arab and Islamic solidarity for Palestine through a coordinated effort between the Arab League, the Organization for Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and the Arab Parliament to increase recognition of Palestine and its full membership in the UN.
Israel captured East Jerusalem from Jordan in the 1967 War and declared the sacred kotqa an "inseparable and eternal capital" in 1980. It was never recognized by the international community.
The Palestinians insist they must establish an independent state with East Jerusalem as its capital in the final settlement.
Under an earlier peace deal between Palestine and Israel, the status of Jerusalem must be decided through the final-status talks between Israel and the Palestinians
