  3. Better than just looking at dmg taken. Data is power, and while Skada wins in some areas, Recount has the pretty graphs down.
  4. It has the ability for you to input coordinates and a big green arrow will lead you there while saying how much you have left until your destination and is also showing the yards remaining to the target. Altoholic adds who else of your characters has this item when hovered and adds it as a tooltip.
  5. For the purpose of this exercise, I've decided that World of Logs will be our benchmark. Now, of course, these systems both draw from the player's personal combat log, so there are always going to be inconsistencies based on the number of targets, the type of fight, and the demands it puts on players. In this case you choose alternate views by holding certain keys pressed while clicking. These Addons will give you timers of when certain abilities in the fight will take place, allowing you to plan ahead. I hope you can add that as an optional textblock on each bar. This window can be extensively customized in Skada's configuration panel; click the little cog icon to access a menu, and then click Configure. Added spell details for the Total healing mode. And the results have been fairly interesting!
  6. Top 15 Must - If you don't mind, would you open a ticket over at and attach a copy of your config file once it's in a broken state? Some people use Details but im not sure about that, what you guys think?
  7. Does anyone know of a good reliable dps meter addon where it shows accurate results. Some people use Details but im not sure about that, what you guys think. Accuracy is largely down to how the measure is defined. Don't try to compare different meters in terms of numbers, but instead in terms of features or functionality. Find what gives you the tools you want. Well no, Skada's way of measuring is generally just misleading due to the not recording until you personally are in combat aspect of it. It means outside of perfect combatlock bosses not even all raid bosses do this, and it just gets more inaccurate in M+. The only benefit it had over recount was performance related, and wow addons skada a tough sell for having. Unless you're on a hamster I'd recommend details, but if you need a meter without performance hit skada does it best still afaik - even if you may be wrong on what you're seeing sometimes. Skada if you want lighter weight. You should use Warcraft Logs anyway. I dont use that tho since you should probably be first ones to dps boss on pulls. Recount is also a cpu pig. Skada being a bit better and Details being the best. My Skada and Details have always matched worldoflogs and warcraftlogs while Recount is always off. I haven't tried details, but I've switched from Recount to Skada a lot of years ago. Recount is also a cpu pig. Skada being wow addons skada bit better and Details being the best. My Skada and Details have always matched worldoflogs and warcraftlogs while Recount is always off. In terms of in-game addons it's hard to argue with details. It's relatively light-weight let's be honest here, if you're worried about memory usage of a single addon in WoW in 2017 you have a major system problem that goes beyond the addons you're using and provides a massive amount of accurate info that can be tailored and dissected to your needs. For more serious encounter analysis outside of near-real-time though nothing beats warcraftlogs. That said I find it best not to leave a meter up during a fight, or at least not to pay much attention to it if you do. Unless you're specifically trying to diagnose an issue it wow addons skada help much and just distracts you from what you're doing.
