Litespeed is a software add-on. You can purchase it directly from Litespeed.
On a VPS you can install any PHP modules of your choice. I am not sure what you mean by "WordPress Features".

If it is KnownHost, they responded, but in general for most online businesses, the sales department is open within business hours, which is similar to banking business hours, and support will be open 24 hours (unlisted otherwise), and will respond anytime within the 24 hours.
With some hosts, if you're not a customer, the response from support may be delayed since helping their customers comes first before a non-customer, whereas billing is the opposite.

This is not hard to find. The hard part is researching and finding a reputable host that fits your needs. Make a list of 5 or 6 and contact all of them with your questions. Research all of them on here, and then narrow down your choices (which you may have done). Important tip...only pay monthly until you have a level of trust with the host. Many will pay 1-3 years ahead, only to find in 3 or 4 months their dissatisfied, and will run into issues getting a refund, and feel stuck staying with the host, which you don't have to if you're able to swallow the lost money.

What specifically are you looking for related to WordPress?
If this is a new WordPress installation...you can install it on any host, but unless the host states they manage WordPress, it will be in your hands to manage, which includes security and optimization.
If you have an existing website that's outgrown a Shared or VPS account, then there are hosts that will manage the VPS and WordPress for you.
I would agree that most of the provider does offer 24/7 support.

if you are looking for 24/7 sales chat, then you may look a company who has an outsource company hired to deal with sales. just get into their website at 03 AM, and you will find someone who can sell

Have you ever considered 3rd party support/management services company for your server?
No Hosting provider offers fully managed support for VPS hosting as far as I am aware and won't trouble shoot your WordPress plugin issues some might point in that direction but it's where support ends, thats part of your web develoer job to investigate further.
Many hosting advertise Fully Managed when it's not just as many advertise unlimited plans when they are not, there's genererally information about what such fully managed support includes and what doesn't, generally it only invoves server issues not web site related issues.
That's not even going into basic support tasks like keep wordpress code up to date.
I do think that looking for new hosting that has been working out in the past for you because one time they're taking longer to respond to support ticket is a bit extreme and unneccessary creating extra work for moving data over.

And how much you want to pay for support? Which SLA level of response (not resolving an issue time, just response can be made with some guarantee, because an issue can take time depends on the complexity of the problem) do you need?
Some providers can offer you not just SLA response time within 1 hour, but also 24/7 monitoring of your server and in case of problem you don't need even to create a ticket and most of the problem can be resolved without interruption of service and can be avoided.
So, I advise you to order 24 hours monitoring with technical support SLA. It can cost from 10-20 USD monthly for your VPS plus 10-20 USD for each hour, that support will use on your support (pure hours).

Just to clarify since OP hasn't returned to thi spost we've had them all taken care of long ago.
They did indeed start by opening a ticket w/ the sales department and not with support. It was after the fact that they opened a support ticket and we got them squared away in short order.
