  1. Search Public Files on Google Drive, Dropbox, Skydrive, Evernote, and Box with CloudKite
  2. Google Drive, Dropbox, Skydrive, Evernote, and Box are tools that allow users to save and share documents on the cloud. Unfortunately, most of these tools have not developed a way for users to search other people’s files that have been set to allow for public sharing. Cloud Kite is a tool that is filling that void. The company describes themselves on their Google+ profile as a “collective encyclopedia project based on Google Drive public files and on the Cloud sharing, Cloud sourcing and Cloud solving principles.” Using Cloud Kite, users can search files uploaded to Google Drive, Dropbox, Skydrive, Evernote, and Box at the same time (note that the more services you search, the longer the search takes).

  23. What is the best technique for getting/finding/sourcing candidates off of YouTube
  24. New to the site, sorry if this has been covered before, but curious as to how some people are able to find talent or people using Youtube groups or searches only. I am having a hard time finding specific information on this on my own, to help build my sourcing information up, thank you in advance for any help.
  25. Money aside, what tool do you have (or would want) in your arsenal to source tech talent in the Bay area?
  26. I know this is specific, but with market getting tigher, having an array of tools to chose from to identity, connect and source talent is more important than ever. I have been using a few aggregators and notice that having more than one is important, because not one has all the right details. Money aside, what tool(s) do you have (or would want) in your ar […]
  27. Handing over sourced candidates
  28. This is probably a question for pure sourcers. I'm wondering what mechanism you use to hand over sourced candidates to either recruiters or others in the organization that will take the next step with them. Do you simply email the details? Do you use ATS / CRM or some other technology to help in the process? What are the pitfalls to avoid in the t […]
