  2. I`m starting a business in web sites industry, I`m going to create e-commerce and presentation websites.

  17. For this I`m intending to rent a VPS in EU only where I`m going to host all the websites through cPanel.
  18. Having said that I`m looking at the market for weeks now and I really cannot decide what to choose, maybe anyone, please, can help me with this.
  20. I found 3 big VPS provides in EU which are close to what I`m looking for, my budget is 40-50 euro for VPS renting.
  21. Key factors in choosing VPS are;
  22. - many dedicated IP addresses (I`m going to provide dedicated IP for each E-Commerce because of the security like SSL, email secure, better SEO and so on-cheap extra dedicated IP would be appreciated)
  23. - Fast internet connection of course
  24. - Good storage with high I/O, so SSD is preferable, the more the better
  25. - Good support (or good service so no support is needed )
  27. The companies that I found are:
  28. -Contabo ; great for the price, big storage but additional IP is 2eur and I`m limited to 10 (maximum 20 if I have a very good reason - which I don`t as they give me the impression)
  29. -Hetzner; great price, great cloud experience, not the biggest storage provider but are NVMe with crazy I/O , cheap additional IP 1eur but again, limited to 10 additional IP with a possibility for increasing the limit but not really, as they gave me the impression again from the email
  30. -Online.net(scaleway); nice services, great prices and storage, great IP limits ( around 100 for developer option), BUT, I cannot assign multiple IP addreses to the same VPS, I almost cry when I found out
  32. So this is my experience with VPS through the last weeks,any impressions, any additional ideas?

  37. You didn't consider optimization and security for your VPS. If these are all in production considering it is E-Commerce sites, then make sure to consider these. It is important.

  43. I guess CageFS, CloudLinux, CSf, CXS, Clamav, antivirus, anti spam are enough.
  44. All the VPS network sustain that are DDoS protected. I`m also thinking to an FailOver IP.
  46. For 40-50 EUR you can buy a dedicated server from online.net and use up to 30 (I think) IP addresses on the server. I think the same is with hetzner.

  50. And for 50 Euros it is kind of hard to get cPanel on it as well, as the license price is a lot higher than on a VPS.
