Illimani is a peak located at the west of Bolivia, specifically in the El Alto and La Paz area. This mountain is prominent because it belongs in the Cordillera Oriental Mountains of Andes. It is not the highest summit in the country but it is one of the tallest mountains in the country with prominence of 8,041 feet and a summit of 21,122 feet. During winter season, there are snows and glaciers 15,000 feet above ground and there are four peaks within the area too. It is one of the places to visit in Bolivia.
