Hosthoney scam
To be honestly I do not want to create such a post, but the reality is that hosthoney keeps lie to me and didn't refund my money ($144).

you can refer to this thread and 3 months passed no money returned to my account, they just keep find new excuses(payment issue, bandwidth issue, paypal issue, bank transfer issue...etc)， so guys please do not buy any services from them , they are just cheating and didn't care about their customers.
Some of these host names amuse me.
Hosthoney probably works with Hostbrandi and Hostbambi at the Hoststripclub.
Sorry to hear about your poor experience with them. Have you considered disputing the payment you made to them with your bank?

It's unfortunate when a host and customer land in a sticky situation
Its funny how a few months despite having unrealistically low prices, a chunk of WHT users were singing praises (you know, another super sustainable, unbelievably cheap host, with zero track record, yay!)... Now many of the same people (and many new ones) appear on WHT crying about paying unsustainable rates, and getting stiffed in an entirely predictable manner.
Whack-a-mole, this sort of thing has been going on for literally decades at this point, there are always fresh marks out there I guess.

Never heard of the host in this thread until the recent complaints, but over the years there have been new hosts that came in with low offers, and actually surpassed the expectation of quality support and service, and are still around today with much praises. Unfortunately, even though the odd new host will become a great host, it's really one or two out of 3000 a year that fill those shoes.

Yes, they told me that they issued a refund 2 weeks ago, but still no money received, it is really bad experience
They used to be active on here @HOSTHONEY perhaps they can chime in... last seen 2018.. last few threads were selling all Hardware.

This seems entirely straight forward to me...
If they've promised you a refund but are not delivering on it, file a transaction dispute on that grounds, and cut them out of the picture, let your card issuer/etc. handle it, that's what the dispute mechanisms are meant for.

Same here and the amount to refund is about $40 so far asked for my paypal e-mail then two weeks have passed and nothing I guess we will don't have our money back and the only thing is happening is the waste of our time with so many lies...

1. File a dispute with PayPal (if that is who you paid with)
2. Attach screenshots of tickets and conversations, including the no replies.
3. Attach any text, url, or screenshots of a refund policy
4. Wait a 2 or 3 days and then call PayPal
Sometimes step #4 is not needed if you give enough information. A lot of times hosts that scam customers never reply to the dispute, which is an automatic refund for the customer. Calling PayPal about a dispute works a lot better when you speak to someone. They may read the dispute and think one way about the issue, and then hearing you explain it, change their mind after having a better understanding on the issue.
That is the best that can be done if the payment was not done through a bank with PayPal. Sometimes, its better to let go of the lost money and frustration behind it. Is $40 or $140 worth losing a few nights sleep, and adding stress to your life, while waiting to see if the money comes back, or the company suddenly has some form of ethics and posts and apology with a refund. If it was more, then I would understand, but it is about principal. Make sure all your files are backed up, and then say anything negative (that's facutal) about them.
After you follow WPCYCLE's advice, make sure you do learn from this.
