Unfortunately, the "Filipino Food Movement" has been registered as the name of a corporation in the United States.
It was registered by the family that stole the Magnolia Ice Cream brand and logo from the Philippines. They even stole the Pampanga's Best trademark.
PJ Quesada and Ramar Foods, look it up... It's the most notorious case of brand piracy and trademark squatting perpetuated by a USA corporation.
That's why there is now the Boycott Ramar Movement. Americans and Canadians are advised to look at the label of Magnolia products on the shelves of "Filipino" stores. If there's no San Miguel on it, it's not the Magnolia of our home country. It's made by that thieving Ramar company in Northern California.
