Tambomachay or Tampu Mach’ay is like Pikillaqta – it is also an archaeological excavation in Cusco dug up and discovered to have been used by the Inca people back in the 15th to the 16th century. The Tambomachay is believed to be the “The Bath of Inca”. It could have been the “day and night spa” type of establishment for the elites of Inca back then. You will see canals, waterfalls remnants, water ducts and terraced rocks within the site.
