  2. When in The Bahamas, you must also see to it that you visit Elbow Cay. It is one of the nicest beaches located in the Abaco region and it spans up to 8 miles long or around 13 kilometers. The island was inhabited by British nationals who fled the United States of America in 1785. They used to call it the Great Harbour back then and they survived on traditional fishing, scavenging and boat building. The main village in Elbow Cay is called Hope Town and it acts as a defensive barrier of the island. It is one of the places to visit in The Bahamas.
