FRVR completes the purchase of the free-to-play shooting game Krunker.IO.
The free-to-play first-person shooter Krunker.io has been acquired by FRVR. Krunker.io is a highly popular shooter with complete modding support that can be played anywhere without having to install the game and has already been played by over 200 million unique players worldwide.
Krunker, created by Swiss game developer Sidney de Vries in 2018, has quickly risen to the top of the post-app store gaming charts. Due to the platform's current player base of over 1.5 billion, FRVR just received $76 million in investment. The company now wants to utilize this money to significantly increase Krunker's visibility and effectiveness.
The community of gamers at Krunker.io is fantastic, according to FRVR CEO Brian Meidell. The Krunker team did a fantastic job developing a top-notch game, and we look forward to working with them to further it by using FRVR's platform, staff, and publishing infrastructure. We specifically designed FRVR for partnerships like this one.
We are delighted to be a part of the FRVR family. They completely get our vision for Krunker, and Sidney de Vries, the creator of Krunker.io, and I are in agreement on the limitless potential that lies ahead of us. "We get to maintain complete creative control, which is crucial to us and the neighborhood. Additionally, this adds a ton of new resources and help for QA, community engagement, technical difficulties, and sandbox features. With so much more energy, we can concentrate on creating a fantastic game for our players.
Together with a round of Krunker, FRVR's size and capacity to deploy games almost anywhere without installing anything.
Io's level is the ideal match to demonstrate to the public the true potential of FRVR, according to Luke Alvarez, founding managing partner of Hiro Capital. "I believe this will revolutionize Krunker and FRVR alike.
