Greetings Liquidsnake and fellow tank buddies. I wish to propose as above. Custom chat presets that can be used in the bottom right shortcut commands. Also it will help newer players to understand battle tactics, control points, baiting, and ultimately improve the overall quality of gameplay; without the hassle and evident distraction of typing in game. I hope my suggestion can be taken seriously. Thank you for your time. But there are those who press CTRL and spam click the minimap. It would be great if there are these functions on Blitz. I was hoping we could input our own text ie: 1. Too little heavys, meds flank fast. All hill, tds take island 3. Tds, need help at frontline asap. And save these as shortcuts to be used in addition to the current. I was hoping we could input our own text ie: 1. Too little heavys, meds flank fast. All hill, tds take island 3. And the same is going to come back with things translated from what others are using your custom commands and displaying to us in English. You are really asking Wargaming to be able to require instantaneous, accurate and understandable translation into every language any of the devices used by the game could possibly be running from every language that might be being used, often of abbreviated words. Even programs that say they are translation programs can struggle doing that between just two languages, and you are asking for potentially 13 different translations at the same time. It is too complicated, how if just add the existing command with: fall back! Add another one or two more chat commands buttons will help... Like your FM1, FM2, AM. Language are symbols, so becomes universal. Regroup and disperse are important. Wraith598 has some good suggestions. This was discussed so much last year but nothing was done, yet. They have different sentence orders, and different grammatical rules. You have words that don't have equivilants in other languages because the concepts behind them don't translate into the other cultures. You have words with multiple meanings that mean different things in the other language. I agree, more commands would be good. But it has to be done so that it is clear to all users, in whatever language they are playing in. Simple one word commands are easier, complicated instructions less so. That would be simple, relative to calculating angle of shot and projectile penetration probability in real time. Translation can be done through a setting interface beforehand; where the user has preset his macro messages at an earlier time. Though of course there I have 140 odd language choices on my Surface that every pre-programmed message would have to be translated accurately into. And of course since it is not going to be possible to store all the pre programmed responses on each client they will need to be sent by the server in full rather than the server just needing to tell the client to display a fixed message that it already has. But I guess calculating angles and doing maths is a lot harder for computers than translating human languages. If you say so. Languages: English, Arabic, Chinese, Czech, Finnish, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, Thai, Turkish, Vietnamese I guess sarcasm, negativity and half-truths is simpler than spending time and effort thinking into QoL improvements. Nice suggestion there ins4n1ty, i am tired of using the battle chat because i'd have to write something when i was supposed to hold back the enemies, i can't concentrate on both chatting and battling at the same time, so... So being a pedant is simpler than addressing the flaws in your idea? Presumably you did not start this topic in order to get a full roster of people who completely agree with you and think it's the best idea ever. Your previous ideas, though well-intentioned, have generally neglected to take into consideration many unintended consequences as well as some clear implementation hurdles. An oversight of the policy feedback loop, if you will. As for the computers and maths vs languages issue, let's take Google as an example - extremely sophisticated search engine algorithms. Google Translate, on the other hand - mind-bending at times. Carvin makes some good points above.
