A Symptom is an indication that something is wrong in your body and should never be ignored. Unfortunately, many of us ignore these symptoms and don't seek medication attention at the right time till the situation becomes worse.
In this article, we shall be looking at some symptoms that require you to see a doctor immediately.
1. You see floaters
Seeing floaters or spots in your vision is one of the signs of retinal tear and detachment. This symptom requires immediate medical attention because if it is not treated early enough, it could lead to permanent blindness.
2. Shortness of breath
This is one symptom that should never be ignored. Once you notice a change in how you breathe or someone close to you, call the doctor immediately, as it could be a sign of a heart attack or other cardiovascular-related health conditions. Remember that the heart is one of the major organs in the body, and heart diseases are one of the leading causes of death in the world.
3. Weakness on one side of the body
This is one of the early warning signs of a stroke. If you experience this, speak out to the people around you and visit the nearest hospital at once. Many people recover from a stroke when it is diagnosed and treated early.
4. Face paralysis
Although many people link face paralysis to stroke, it is a symptom of Bell's palsy. Face paralysis is the inability to move the muscles on your face. It is a serious medical condition that requires urgent attention.
5. Stiff neck with a headache
If you notice the stiffness of the neck with a headache at the same time, it could be a sign of infection around your brain. Visit your doctor as soon as possible for proper diagnosis.
6. Inability to urinate
You should be worried if you haven't urinated in six hours or more, as it could be a symptom of dehydration or kidney failure. Drink enough water to rule out dehydration and if nothing changes, visit the hospital immediately.
7. Yellow skin
If you notice that your skin is turning yellow, don't wait and see what will happen. Turning yellow is a major symptom of hepatitis. You should seek medical care without delay.
