  3. Ngong Hills is a group of peaks along the Great Rift Valley located at southwest of Nairobi and it is one of the places to visit in Kenya. The name “Ngong” comes from the Maasai dialect meaning Rhinoceros Spring in English (enkong’u emuny). On the eastern part of the hills, one will see the Nairobi National Park. On the northern part, the city of Nairobi can be viewed. When you look west, Maasai communities are easily located. The Ngong Hills has an elevation of 2,460 meters or 8,070 feet.
