  1. Entertainer and musician Rolf Harris will now face three additional allegations of indecent assault when he stands trial in 2014.
  2. The Crown Prosecution Service released a statement today confirming that the sexual offences had formed part of the original investigation, but they have now been formally added to the list of allegations against him. In total, he now faces 16 possible charges of sexual assault, including making indecent images of minors in 2012.
  3. "The CPS has decided that Rolf Harris is to be prosecuted over a further three allegations of indecent assault," read a statement from the CPS.
  4. "The three counts will be prosecuted in addition to the 13 alleged sexual offences with which Mr Harris was charged on 29 August 2013.
  5. "These three allegations were included in the file sent to the CPS by the Metropolitan Police in August of this year. However, as part of the ongoing review process for all cases, it has been decided that these allegations should be formally added to the indictment as further counts."
  6. These new allegations relate to the indecent assault relating to a girl aged seven or eight in 1968 or 1969, to the indecent assault of a girl aged 19 in 1984, and one of indecent assault on a girl aged 14 in 1975. Evidence has already been served.
  7. Rolf is due to appear at Southwark Crown Court for a plea and case-management hearing on January 14.
