Everton Star Wayne Rooney Seems to Be Losing Hair Again Despite £30k Treatments

  1. Former England skipper Wayne Rooney appears to be losing his hair again after images appeared in The Sun.
  2. The Everton striker has been accused of using a spray-on hair thickener during match games to cover up his bald spots.
  3. Rooney who turns 32-years-old on Tuesday has blown around £30k on hair transplants already, but the treatment has seemingly not had a lasting impact.
  4. The Manchester United and Everton legend, has also been accused of using a spray-on hair thickener to cover up during games.
  5. However his waning locks were on full display as he signed shirts of former club Manchester United at a charity event on Friday, with an attendee highlighting Wayne's hair issues when they spoke to The Sun:
  6. “Wayne’s hair does almost as many disappearing acts as he’s done on nights out," said the witness.
  7. “One minute he’s sporting a thick thatch and the next it’s gone. He’s been going bald since his early 20s and tried everything to cover it up."
  8. “But he should cut his losses and accept defeat, he’s not fooling anyone.”
  9. A balding Rooney underwent a procedure at London’s Harley Street Hair Clinic in 2011, where surgeons took hair from the back of his head to replant at the front, with a repeat procedure carried out in 2013.
  10. However, confused fans have been quick to point out the ever-changing thickness of his barnet.
  11. Nevertheless Rooney has bigger issues to worry about than his hair, with his Everton side sitting in the relegation zone manager-less.
  12. Rooney was bought in this summer as part of Ronald Koeman's big spending spree as he tried to push Everton forward into Champions League contention, however the Dutchman's plans have backfired with repeated poor performances from his new-look side leading to his sacking.
  13. Rooney was at the heart of Koeman's plans, but will now have to prove himself again to a new manager on his return season to his boyhood club.
