  3. He is about to walk away when Black Cat climbs through the hole she just made in the way. The two fight, but Sable is still alive. Spider-Man gets a call from Mary Jane some time later to let him know that while she wasn't able to find out what could possibly be on the drive, she did learn that the Hammerhead family now has it and the Maggia are freaked out about it.
  4. Yuri holds her gun, and defeats the villain on time. The new Screwball Challenges--which replace the Taskmaster Challenges--will probably take up most of your time.
  5. The thugs panic, knowing they are running out of time and decide to grab things to steal and run, but are subdued by Spider-Man. At a rooftop, Spider-Man defeats Hammerhead's men, later to discover that Silver Sablinova has arrived back to her Sable team. Spider-Man learns from a conversation between the men that Hammerhead's drive has a tracker on it. She continues to look for more information while Spider-Man takes out the thugs outside. Black Cat has taken Hammerhead's drive and now has all five after having given Hammerhead four fakes. The police dispatch reports a burglary matching the Black Cat's modus operandi. Eventually the webbing reboots and both Spider-Man and Black Cat take to the rooftops. The police advise that a Maggia family witness has gone missing and give a location. He sees the vault and notices that it is open. Skipping the tired formula of origin games, Spider-Man picks up with a more advanced era of Peter Parker's crime-fighting escapades and will see him facing legendary villain Kingpin all over again. Spider-Man then asks if she can give him a ride home, which she agrees to do so.
  6. Marvel’s Spider - Whoever holds all the drives, can take the assets away from the other families and bankrupt them.
  7. The Heist includes several old characters and a few new ones, but primarily focuses on Peter's ex-girlfriend Felicia Hardy, aka Black Cat. The Heist is about three hours long in total, including all story missions and optional side quests and activities. An hour of that time is devoted to the story of Black Cat's return to New York. She's stealing flash drives from members of the prominent crime families in the city, and Peter and Mary Jane work together to both figure out why and discover a way to stop her before she starts a gang war. The first half of the story involves a new type of stealth mission and plenty of chase sequences, while the latter half includes a Mary Jane stealth mission and a powerful new enemy type that utilizes a minigun. Standard combat missions are sprinkled throughout, and enemy base missions are dropped entirely. Instead of hunting backpacks, for example, you'll be looking for the art that Felicia's father has left hidden around the city. The only new side activity involves using the Spider-Bot to look for bombs under cars. The new Screwball Challenges--which replace the Taskmaster Challenges--will probably take up most of your time. They're similar to what you had to do in the main game's challenges, but you'll also be tasked with capturing your web-slinging or combat moves on camera at the perfect moment to rack up a higher score. Minor spoilers for a new Spider-Man villain introduced in the first 20 minutes of The Heist follow. Although it seems as if Black Cat's piece of the tale is complete at the end of The Heist, her actions bring the Spider-Man villain Hammerhead back into the wall-crawler's life. Insomniac has not confirmed which character will be the focus of Turf Wars, the second part of The City That Never Sleeps, but Spider man the city that never sleeps Heist makes a good case that we can expect to see Spidey go up against the gangster with a steel skull fairly soon. The City That Never Sleeps continues with Turf Wars in November and Silver Lining in December.
