Czech Pirate Lost a Lawsuit and Was Sentenced to Playing in a Movie
Jakub F, a software pirate, faced a very uncommon punishment in a copyright infringement lawsuit after losing a case brought by an anti-piracy group. The problem is that he was unable to pay damages, so instead he was forced to agree to star in a video showcasing his life as a pirate. The condition of the anti-piracy group was that if the movie doesn't get 200K hits on YouTube, the pirate would have to pay a large fine.
