  6. I've heard about the petitions to the White House to secede
  7. from the United States from *all* 50 states. I thought that
  8. it might be a good idea to help you guys out since no
  9. one seems to know the proper procedures for seceding
  10. from the United States.
  11. First you should understand (in legal terms) just what
  12. the United States is. The United States a country made
  13. up of 50 INDEPENDENT and Sovereign territories and is a
  14. compact (or contract via the United States Constitution)
  15. between these 50 INDEPENDENT territories..
  16. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Compact_theory
  17. Meaning that just like a movie star or athlete has a contract
  18. (which can be terminated by the other side if necessary) you
  19. can TERMINATE (end) the contract with the federal
  20. government.

  32. (Sorry original link was too long so I had to shorten it.)
  33. You DO NOT need to ask them (the Federal Government) to "please let me go."
  34. Come on guys, that's like having one of your kids asking a
  35. bully that might be beating them up everyday and taking their
  36. lunch money to stop it and give them back them lunch money..
  37. All of have to do is elect someone with the BALLS to call for
  38. (AND ATTEND) Secession Convention an then VOTE FOR an
  39. Ordinance of Secession:
  40. http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ordinance_of_Secession
  41. (Now that you know this you have enough information to
  42. move forward in BACKING OUT of that compact.)
  43. Here's a little bit of historical background into this subject:
  44. In the 1800's states that wanted to secede held what was known
  45. as Secession Convention.
  46. (Texas held one on February 1, 1861. South Carolina held also
  47. held one on December 17, 1860.)
  48. After your convention drafts the Ordinance of Secession and
  49. passes it you can then start operating as an independent
  50. territory! Mint your own currency, fly your own flag, run the
  51. economy the way you want to etc.....
  52. But it all starts by voting for either third party candidates
  53. or Independents who will actually CALL for, ATTEND and PARTICIPATE
  54. in the Secession Convention.
