  3. Someone else ordered the chicken tacos, which came with rice and black beans on the side. Delicious is the best description.
  4. There is outside seating with a roof cover and inside seating - and a bar that faces both ways. Our dressings and sauces are homemade.
  5. Imperial The hook restaurant near me Brea, CA 92821 - 714 671-5886 1367 W. It is behind the Solo Dreams surf shop, and it has a surfer's theme to the place. They have a happy hour 4-6PM with cheap beer and well drink prices. Some things are just meant to be. Our fish is always fresh and line caught. Visit Our Restaurant Seafood has never been this ring and appetizing. We also offer a large selection of wines to satisfy even the finickiest of tastes. It was not crowded yet everything moved extremely slow. Large pieces of delicious tasting lobster, thick bacon, lettuce, tomato and sliced avocado on a good size roll that held everything. We were never met if we wanted an additional drink etc throughout the service. We sat at the bar and had delicious drinks and tacos. I got the macaroni salad and cilantro lime rice.
  6. - The mac salad was a little boring - mostly just elbows.
  7. We sat at the bar and had delicious drinks and tacos. The also-recommended piña colada and margarita were strong and well worth whatever they charged us. The bartender was attentive, but I got the distinct sense that this place must be a madhouse in season with food quality and service possibly suffering. Lots of outdoor seating. Walked from 2 Village Square center of Ogunquit and did walk in after walking to Tolly Depot. I had past several times during vacation, I had made a self promise personal note to stop in. Monday August 27th I followed through with promise. If I lived closer I'd be hooked on Hooks. I can't believe how good their Lobster Roll BLT was, wow. Large pieces of delicious tasting lobster, thick bacon, lettuce, tomato and sliced avocado on a good size roll that held everything. I would push all items down so I could have a full mouthful bite. Delicious is the best description. Note a side of chips comes with meal. Beverage nice cold Guinness. My server was Pete and I got to hear some nice relaxing music by Jim. After enjoying my meal it was time to walk back. I've had lobster roll sandwich, but nothing like this. There were five of us. The atmosphere is very fun! There is outside seating with a roof cover and inside seating - and a bar that faces both ways. It is behind the Liquid Dreams surf shop, and it has a surfer's theme to the place. The servers were very friendly and helpful, and the service was quick. We switched to water. They have a happy hour 4-6PM with cheap beer and well drink prices. The round chips were like right out of a bag at the grocery store, and the salsa was just chopped up tomatoes with some onions mixed in. No one liked the salsa. It was thick and creamy, but not a lot of flavor. It was a BIG bowl of teriyaki chicken, pineapple salsa, onions, carrots, water chestnuts and cabbage served over white rice. Someone else ordered the chicken tacos, which came with rice and black beans on the side. He said they were good - not great. It was a tiny piece of chicken smothered in spicy jerk sauce. Nothing like real Jamaican jerk chicken. It came with 2 sides. I got the macaroni salad and cilantro lime rice. The rice was good. The mac salad was a little boring - mostly just elbows. We didn't order desserts, but they offer brownie sundaes, ice cream sandwiches, and coconut delight coconut ice cream covered with grilled pineapple and mango and covered in a caramel rum sauce. Although the food was just okay, the atmosphere makes it fun, so we will go back. They also serve burritos, grilled salmon, grilled mahi mahi, and baked haddock, many salad choices, pulled pork, BBQ chicken, and more. They do have a children's menu. There were a bunch of kids there. Wild, loud bratty kids who's parents paid no attention to them disturbing everyone else. But that happens everywhere. Lots of parking available. Everyone in our party of 5 enjoyed a delicious meal at Hook's. The lobster rolls were overflowing with huge chunks of lightly dressed lobster meat topped with bacon strips and avocado slices which sent the simple sandwich over the top! The frozen pina coladas made with spiced rum were refreshing and not too sweet. The only downside to our dining experience was the lack of air conditioning in the restaurant. Fans would have really helped and we would have stayed for a few more cocktails if it had been cooler. It was not crowded yet everything moved extremely slow. We sat for close to 7minutes before we were greeted by a server. We were never asked if we wanted an additional drink etc throughout the service. We sat with empty glasses and nothing. The owner or manager sat at the bar with a laptop and did nothing to assist to greet patrons. The food itself wasnt bad, just be prepared to be there for well over an hour.
