I've been getting tons of "negative" comments and PM's criticizing my choice of virtualization software. People suggest I use VMware to virtualize operating systems. That is something I would like to do, but hear my catch.

The part I want you to specifically comprehend is in brackets and is capitalized. You may ask me how making money from Google AdSense makes a difference in my choice of virtual machine software. The answer is actually something most people don't care about.
The freeware version of VMware (VMware Player) can only be used in homes, specifically it can not be used for commercial purposes. I don't really want to purchase a commercial license for the full versions of VMware, but I don't want to pirate the software either (I already do too much of that already). Therefore, my option is to use Oracle VirtualBox. Myself included I think VirtualBox is really bad. It has poor support for guest OS's, but it's one of the only options I've got.
I will admit I should have made my experience better by at least installing a generic video driver, but I didn't have time.
