The Huanchaco is a beach area located in Trujillo, Peru and it is one of the most visited beaches by locals and tourists alike in the entire country. This beach is very famous with travelers because of surfing (it is a recognized site by World Surfing Reserve); the Caballito de totora boats used by local fishermen and of course, the ever famous Peru delicacy called, ceviche (raw fish, citrus juice and some herbs with spices). It has a scenic view and the beach is lovely to spend a day in.
