Ilheu das Rolas is an island on the equator. Go to the southern tip of the Sao Tome Island and you’ll see this islet which is now a resort. Many people come here to see the sights. However, to access the place, you’ll need to use a boat. You’ll also see that the islet is complete with various beaches. It also has a geyser called Furnas. However, the fact this place is on the equator brings out the best in its tourism. It is amazingly small that it only occupies less than 1% of the country.
