The Karen Blixen Museum is one of the national museums in Kenya which is approximately 10 kilometers away from Nairobi, Kenya. This museum is located that the base of Ngong Hills and it was once the home of Karen Blixen, a Danish writer who wrote “Out of Africa”. There is also a movie title “Out of Africa” but the location of the home in the movie wasn’t filmed at the museum. The whole estate was built by 1912 and it is a bungalow-type structure as designed by engineer Ake Sjogren from Sweden.
