  1. Ingress secure connection could not be established

  3. I'd potentially post in the development thread but where I'm a newbie it won't let me, sorry about that! Note that all these items depend on correct configuration and operation of the core.
  4. The 15ish Minute Coffee Hack As well as being close to free wi-fi, portals in shopping centers have the possibility of being within range of somewhere that sells coffee. I'm not confident about interpreting the logs, but I your config. Both protocols rely on other protocols to provide security.
  5. Total The total number of bytes that have been transferred over this connection. What did I learn today? I made use of the new installed Ingress portal for some goodies. I had a look on the maps and could see two possible portals to visit that appeared to be in range of free open wi-fi. Remind though that what this protocol was targeting was a technical disaster, not a malicious tampering of the data in transit. Users need an invitation to access Ingress. Status The status of the connection. Copy List to Clipboard Copies the list to the clipboard. Configuring diagnostics Log Network Watcher provides a view. However, there are a number of other design considerations to be taken into account, such as memory consumption.
  6. So... is that it? Am I just done? (Secure Connection Cannot be established) : Ingress - It could be a ton of different issues but generally moot based on yours and Darren's recommendation to wrap the stateful svc in a stateless svc. So the easiest solution, as mentioned by Darran, is typically to have a stateless service that acts as your ingress point for client requests.
  7. Using the latest rom from Task650 2013. One example is but there are plenty of others, but no names off the top of my head just want to point out it's not unique to Stripe, happens with about 1 in 4 sites I've tried to use. I ran into this quirk with older versions of this rom as well. Happen on a clean install, both stock browser and Chrome. I'd potentially post in the development thread but where I'm a newbie it won't let me, sorry about that. Any tips on how I might resolve this would be greatly appreciated. Or if you know where I might look to find a more verbose error log, that would be pretty awesome as well. If I figure out what happened I'll come back to post about it for others who might run into it. Quote: Originally Posted by maττ Using the latest rom from Task650 2013. Any tips on how I might resolve this would be greatly appreciated. Or if you know where I might look to find a more verbose error log, that would be pretty awesome as well. I have jumped back to older versions of the rom but it still happens. The checksum matches on all files used so I'm relatively sure I'm downloading what's expected. The only time I run into problems is when trying to connect to secure sites over cellular data. My data plan isn't limited or being misused so I don't suspect they've throttled the connection. Not lucky enough to be on any unlimited data plan and no high usage coming from me. E-mails and calendar sync mostly. I would call them up but I feel tier 1 technical support isn't going to be much help until I narrow it down more. Well he was quick to reply and inform me my carrier is unsupported. You would think he lives here on xda. That aside I decided to try the slim rom and I hit the same issue. So it's not unique to task. However, I'm completely stumped at this point. It would be sweet if the browser would give a better error message. Keeping my eyes peeled for others with the same issue and possible solutions, but thanks again for the advice so ingress secure connection could not be established.
