Emmerdale maker Iain MacLeod has guaranteed that it "isn't the end" for Leyla and Pete as genuine marriage butterflies debilitate their approaching pre-marriage ceremony.
Splits began to show up in their fantasies of a tall tale wedding after Pete's (Anthony Quinlan) evidently fleeting undertaking with his lady of the hour to-be's closest companion and house keeper of respect, Priya (Fiona Wade).
Without uncovering what will truly occur on the huge day one week from now, MacLeod stated: "It's not the end for them yet.
"Pete will lament his activities, however I think the genuine selling out is between the two closest companions and we will be looking more into that."
Swim said of her character's conduct: "I would advise Priya not to do it, that is one of the most noticeably bad things you would ever do.
"A man is never worth losing a companion over."
Roxy Shahidi, who plays Leyla, included: "I think Leyla would excuse Pete at first, in the event that he cries enough. It most likely wouldn't work out in the long haul, but since the torment would be so incredible she would excuse him at first.
"In any case, I don't think she would pardon Priya."
Inquired as to whether things would come to physical blows between the two companions, Shahidi prodded: "I trust so."
