Meet Indonesia's 'BBQ Mountain Boys,' 2 friends who bought a coffee farm and run a YouTube channel that's part cooking show, part tiny house dreamscape.
Two Indonesian YouTubers, one a former jeweler to rock bands like Metallica and another a long-time farmer, are trying to redefine perceptions of what it means to be a coffee farmer in the country.
Since 2018 the pair has worked to show city dwellers what farming 2.0 could look like with their BBQ Mountain Boys brand. Their YouTube channel has grown to 222,000 followers while their Instagram now as 70,000 followers and they've been hailed as possibly the "only brand in Indonesia that can change the outdated and 'uncool' concept of agriculture work into something fresh and relevant."
