o set your network to 3g only,follow the steps below –
Open dialer and type this-
*#*#4636#*#*
Tap on “phone information” or “phone information 1” if you have dual sim phone.
There you will find details about your network and somewhere below you will find “set preferred network type”.
Tap on that and scroll above and select ” Wcdma only” if you want 3g only.
“Gsm only” if you want 2g only.
“Lte only” if you want 4g only.
After selecting simply exit.
Note : This method works on almost all android phones.
