The body needs carbs to function properly but not the unhealthy ones. Refined foods such as bread, baked goods and other processed foods are large source of unhealthy carbs which are bad for the body. According to studies, they damage the skin collagen making a person look older.
It is necessary that you focus your attention on more of whole wheat grains and vegetables for your carb intake.
3. Excess intake of sodium rich foods
Taking in a lot of sodium rich foods could make your body retain water making your skin appear more puffier which naturally makes a person to look older than his age.
4. Alcohol
Alcohol has been proven by studies to be dehydrating and has been proven by studies to have a serious side effect on our skin Health.
5. Processed foods.
Most processed foods are made with lots of preservatives as well as contain a lot of unhealthy fats and lots of carbs which have been proven to affect a person look.
