  4. guitar ground buzz
  5. I never tried sticking it down my shorts, I'm a little nervous about putting anything electrical down there (I lived in Argentina during the dirty war...) however, I found that when using a DI or stompbox I could take off my shoes and sox and step on the metal jack cover and eleminate the buzz that way. Is there any solution a little more high tec?

  22. looking for a last buzz huh?
  23. the buzz is caused by the ground being lost in either your axe or your cable. By using yourself as a defacto ground you risk a shock if you step into a puddle, or grab a grounded piece of metal. while there aren't many artists who've given their lives for their craft you up your odds significantly by making a ground that could travel through your chest (left hand through the chest cavity to whereever you've grounded your cable). It takes about a quarter of an amp to kill.
