As a fellow Texan, I am devastating by the shooting of a church in the small community of Sutherland Springs, 15mi east of San Antonio (population of 642 - however no census info is available). It is an unincorporated city with no official fire department or police force. This is another disgusting act of gun violence that will continue to plague the US until our politicians do something.
Anyway... here is a list of Texas News sources and law enforcement information, as well as major news sources available via Twitter. I don't know the differences between all of these lists, however they vary in difference by how often they've been updated and what sources the users or organizations have chosen to include. Sometimes there is no description, but I have viewed them previously for breaking coverage in Texas.
