A recent survey of #expats đēī¸ found out what cities are great to live abroad in and which ones aren't.
đĒđ¸ Spain had 4 (!) In the top ten, including the secondary cities Valencia & Alicante.
Meanwhile, đŽđšī¸ Italy scored poorly, with both Rome and Milan ranking at the bottom, for metrics like work-life and job satisfaction.
My hunch is that once we're past the pandemic, international remote living will accelerate, and we'll see people leaving inefficient big cities/countries for more space, sunshine, and value.
